Refunds and exchanges

  • 14 day return policy
    • Customer can exchange for a different size or item or ask for a refund. Sale items are not refunded.
  • It is fastest and easiest to come by our store for returns and exchanges - in store exchanges and returns are free of charge.
    • For return shipments, please login and create a return request: Login - create a return request 
    • You can also email us by replying to the confirmation email for your order or emailing us with your order number and relevant information about your return request: email us.
      • Cost for return shipments are according to the carriers' price list at each time
      • Please note that return shipments can take a few business days
  • 14 day return policy on unused items which must be returned in the original condition with labels and original packaging. Please not special terms on returns for swimwear - returns for swimwear are only accepted if the hygiene
  • Shipping costs are not refunded
  • Refunds are generally made with the original payment method used, but Lúdus ehf. reserves the rights for refunding through bank transfers when needed.
  • Refunds are always made as soon as possible and always within 14 days from the acceptance of the product in our store


  • We will refund all purchased products within fourteen days from delivery, that otherwise comply with our terms & conditions. Furthermore, we provide our customers with the right to exchange goods for credit if the goods are returned within thirty days of purchase, as long as the products comply with our terms & conditions. The right for a refund or and exchange is the same whether the product has been purchased online our in our store. We encourage customers to consider returns as soon as possible.

  • The customer is responsible for any decrease in value of the product which may be caused by the handling of the product. In order to be entitled to a refund or exchange, the products must be in their original condition, be unused and unworn, the products may not have been laundered, and must still have all original tags attached. For your rights to returns and exchanges for swimwear see special terms below on this page.
    Ludus reserves the right to verify that the product is in its original condition can refuse returns of products which have received an unwanted treatment and/or have reduced the value of a product.

  • Sale items and items on special offers can not returned for a refund and all sale items are generally classified as a final sale. The customer nevertheless has the right to exchange a product for another size if the variant is on sale or another sale item during the sale. Once the sale period has expired, it is considered a final sale and the product can not be returned or exchanged for another product.

  • Products are generally refunded via the same payment method as was used for the purchase, but Ludus reserves the right to a refund by bank transfer if necessary. If the product was paid for with a credit card, only the product will be refunded to the same credit card.

Exchanges of products bought online or in store

  • The customer must be able to present the receipt which was received for the purchase.

    Swimwear exchanges

    • The same terms apply for the return of swimwear as to the return of other products, but additionally, swimwear can only be returned as long as the hygenic liners are attached.
    • Ludus reserves the right to reject all returns on swimwear if the hygenic liner / sanitary pad has been removed. These terms apply to all returns on swimwear regardless of whether a refund or exchange for another size or product is being requested.

    Defective items

    • If the customer receives a defective product, please send us an e-mail with a picture of the product as soon as you become aware of the fault via this link: send an e-mail link: contact us
    • Ludus reserves the right to seek assistance from the manufacturer on a defective product, but we resolve any issues that arise due to defective products as soon as possible.
    • Regarding buyers' rights due to product defects, reference is made to the Consumer Purchases Act no. 48/2003.


    Returns are and will always be a part of online product shopping. We offer free return of your order as long as the customer has chosen the cheapest delivery method available at any given time. The following applies to free returns:

    • The customer must have chosen the cheapest delivery method available at any given time to be entitled to a free return. Customers who choose home delivery always bear the cost of return themselves.
    • Free returns are only valid once for each order. The customer bears the entire cost of the return that is performed a second time.
    • The customer is always responsible for returning products to Ludus by traceable mail. In the event that a product is lost in the untraceable return, this is the sole responsibility of the customer.
    • Please make sure to include the original invoice with your return.

    • You may always return or exchange your order for free at our store.
