        • Orders are handed over to our carriers the same or next business day 
          • Orders that are made before 11 am on business days are usually handed over to the carrier on the same day. Orders that are made after 11am, during weekends or holidays are handed over to carriers on the preceding business day 
      • Lúdus ehf. reserves the right for longer delivery times due to high service loads, or for any unforeseeable circumstances in our carriers services, such as weather conditions or technical issues.

      Delivery schedules
      All orders made before 11 am, are usually fulfilled and sent out for delivery within the same day. While we only operate online we only guarantee shipping on weekdays, but we will also ship out on Saturdays as we can. During peak hours, days or periods of the year Lúdus ehf reserves the right for longer processing times before orders are sent out for delivery. Should we receive a large number of orders within a short time frame, we reserve the right to have the processing time needed before we send your order out to our carriers, but we guarantee to always process customer orders as soon as possible.

      Most orders are delivered within the same day or the day after within the Reykjavík area (Höfuðborgarsvæðið) and the neighbouring towns of Hveragerði, Selfoss, Akranes and Reykjanesbær. Furthermore, the delivery time will be dependant on the customer's location and preferred shipping method and in most cases the delivery will take one day longer for other parts of Iceland. Most orders are delivered to customers or pickup locations in 1-3 days. Customers receive a tracking conformation by email once we have delivered your order to our shipping carriers.

      We would like to inform our customers that any disruption in the operation of shipping carriers, i.e. due to weather conditions, technical failures, peak loads or other reasons may affect the delivery schedules stated. Lúdus ehf. is not responsible for any delays in the operation of shipping carriers nor makes any compensation caused by delays in carriers' operations.

      *Should you wish to pick up your order at a pickup location which is not close to your home, i.e. close to your work or school, you need to fill in a different address and ZIP code which is close to the given pickup loaction

      **Most of our shipments should be between 0-10 kg. You can choose to make two seperate orders or to contact us if your shipment is more than 10 kg.

      We ship to the Reykjavík area as well as the whole countryside in collaberation with TVG Express and Base Sending. TVG Express delivers to all their pickup locations and is free of charge but Base Sending takes care of home deliveries within the Reykjavík area for a fixed price.

      Lúdus ehf. is responsible for the order until it has been delivered to the relevant shipping carrier but from that moment onward the relevant carriers is fully responsible for the order in the unlikely event the order is delivered to a wrong individual or is lost. Lúdus ehf will in any instance provide the customer with assistance in the unlikely and unfortunate event of your order getting lost on the way from us to you.

      The customer can choose between two delivery options for now, but once we open our store the third option for local pickup will be added.

      1. Free of charge - Pickup from TVG Express pickup locations (0-10kg)

        Pickup is a good option for you if you wish to have your order delivered fast and efficiently to a location close to you. Orders made by 11 am are usually ready for pickup within the same day within the Reykjavík area, Hveragerði, Selfoss, Akranes and Reykjanesbær but the following day in other locations.
        We would like to raise our customers attention to the different opening hours for the various pickup locations by TVG Express. You can see the different opening hours during checkout once you choose your method of delivery.
        This delivery option is available for all orders between 0-10 kg.

      2. Home delivery for 890 kr in the Reykjavík area -Höfuðborgarsvæðið (0-10 kg)

      Delivery handover

      • In order to have your order handed over for delivery you must show a receipt which you will have received from Ludus.is once you placed your order.
