Swimwear and swimming gear for women, men and children

The women’s swimwear collection includes one-piece swimsuits, bikinis, tankinis and legsuits, with shaping, performance, maternity and plus-size options subject to current stock. If you want more coverage or support, start with the one-piece, tankini and shaping ranges. For lap swimming, compare the closer-fitting performance styles.

The men’s swimwear collection includes swim trunks, swim shorts, briefs and jammers. Trunks and swim shorts work well for a lagoon or casual pool visit, while briefs and jammers give a closer fit for lap swimming.

The children’s swimwear collection includes one-piece suits, trunks, shorts, bikinis and swim diapers for infants. Check the live collection if you need a particular age or size.

Depending on current stock, the swimming gear collection includes goggles and masks, swim caps, earplugs, nose clips, water shoes, bags, floaties, fins, towels and swim diapers. If you already have swimwear, you can buy the missing gear separately.

Styles, colours and sizes change, so use the linked collections to see the current range. If you need one exact item, contact us before making a special trip.

Choosing swimwear for a lagoon or Reykjavík pool

For a lagoon or a relaxed pool visit, choose swimwear that feels comfortable and stays secure in the water. A one-piece, bikini, tankini, swim trunk, brief or swim short can all work. If you plan to swim lengths, a performance suit or jammer and well-fitting goggles are usually the more practical choice.

At Reykjavík City swimming pools, all swimmers must shower thoroughly without swimwear before entering the pool and must wear clean, approved swimwear. Put on your swimsuit after showering and follow the signs and staff instructions at the pool.

Other pools, spas and lagoons publish their own visitor information, so check the venue you are visiting.

After swimming, rinse your swimwear in cool fresh water and let it dry fully. Follow the garment’s care label and avoid leaving it packed while it is still wet.

Check size and availability before you visit

The live collection pages have size and “In stock only” filters. Swimwear sizing varies between brands and cuts, so compare the product’s size information with current body measurements rather than relying only on the size you usually buy.

If you are unsure between two sizes, need a specific colour or have a same-day deadline, call or send us a WhatsApp message before setting out. We can check the current item and help you compare the available cuts.

Frequently asked questions

Can I rent a swimsuit at the Blue Lagoon or Sky Lagoon?

Yes. Blue Lagoon and Sky Lagoon currently say that swimwear can be rented on site. If you would rather buy your own for the rest of your trip or for more than one swim, you can pick one up at Ludus before you go. Our lagoon swimwear guide explains the options in more detail. Services can change, so check the venue’s own information before visiting.

Can I collect an online order at Ludus?

Yes. Place the order for store collection and wait for confirmation that it is ready before travelling to the shop. All online orders are handled by our team within same or next business day. If you need your order on short notice, contact us first; preparation time depends on the item and when the order is received. If you need a swimsuit immediately, visit the store rather than ordering online.

Can I wear swim shorts at a Reykjavík pool?

Choose shorts made as swimwear rather than everyday clothing. Reykjavík City requires clean, approved swimwear. If you are unsure about a particular garment, show it to pool staff and follow their direction.
