Shaping and support

Classic built-in bra with removable cups. An elastic band below the bust and soft lining over the cups provide a medium level of support.

The Power Mesh panel sits at the front over the stomach and waist, adding tummy control and helping the swimsuit sit close to the body.

Fabric

Alessia is made from Arena Sensitive® FIT fabric - 68% recycled polyamide and 32% LYCRA® Xtra Life™ elastane. The fabric is soft, stretchy and designed to support the body’s natural shape.

LYCRA® Xtra Life™ provides enhanced chlorine resistance. The fabric dries quickly and offers UPF 50+ UV protection.

  • A shaping swimsuit should feel close-fitting when tried on dry. Swimwear fabric stretches slightly in water and relaxes a little with wear. If the swimsuit feels close-fitting when dry, it is less likely to feel loose in the water or lose its close fit over time.
  • If your measurements fall between two sizes, the smaller size will generally give a firmer fit, while the larger size will give more room. Use the size chart as your guide and choose based on how you prefer the swimsuit to fit.

Care
  • Rinse the swimsuit in clean, cold water immediately after use.
  • Do not leave it wet in a bag or sealed container for long periods.
  • Hand wash only. Do not machine wash.
  • Use a detergent suitable for delicate fabrics.
  • Air dry away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
  • Do not tumble dry or use a poolside swimsuit spin dryer.
  • Always follow the care instructions on the label.

  • Chlorine, salt water and sunlight can cause colors to fade over time. Sunscreen can also affect the fabric.
  • In our experience at Lúdus, light and bright colors tend to show wear sooner than black and dark colors.
  • White, light and pastel swimsuits may develop a yellowish tint with repeated use in chlorinated water.

The Bergstaðir parking garage is about a one-minute walk from our store, and the Traðarkot parking garage on Hverfisgata is about a two-minute walk away.
