Size Guide Arena women

Below you can see size charts from ARENA along with instructions for measurements.

Our sizes are based on European sizes for ARENA and are marked D in the Size guide below.

Use the charts below to determine your size based on your measurements. The charts below are based on ranges, so look for the range that suits you best. If your measurements indicate different sizes between bodyparts, we recommend choosing the size which most of your measurements fall within. If you are on the borderline between two sizes, order the smaller size for a tighter fit or the larger size for a looser fit.

For your reference, we have also listed model sizes and measurements on each product page. Please refer to the fit section on each product. We recommend also looking at the description for each product.

For competitive swimming or regular swim training, we recommend swimsuits from the Arena Performance line instead.

Advice on fabric and color durability

Ludus advice on color choice

Color may fade over time with exposure to chlorinated water, salt water and sunlight. Sunscreen may also affect the fabric. This applies to all swimwear, but 100% polyester generally maintains color and fabric quality better in chlorinated water than blends containing polyamide and elastane.
Based on Ludus experience, light and bright colors usually show wear sooner than black and dark colors.
White, light and pastel-colored swimsuits may develop a yellowish tone after repeated use in chlorinated water.

Ludus advice on durability

Do not use swimsuit spin dryers or wringers at swimming pools.

Ludus advice on care after usage in chlorine water

After use in chlorinated water, it is a good idea to soak the swimsuit in cold water to help extend the life of the fabric.

Ludus advice on care after usage in salt water

After use in the sea or salt water, rinse the swimsuit well in clean, fresh water.

Frequently asked questions

Here you will find frequently asked question on Tankini Arena Shapewear Manuela U Back - Black

What size should I choose?

The swimsuit fits true to size and most women choose their usual size. Always compare your measurements with the size chart before choosing. If you are between sizes, the smaller size will generally give a firmer fit, while the larger size will give more room.

How should a shaping swimsuit fit, and will it stay in place in the water?

A shaping swimsuit should feel close-fitting when tried on dry. Swimwear fabric stretches slightly in water and relaxes a little with wear, so a close fit when dry helps the swimsuit stay in place and reduces bagging in the water.

Does the swimsuit have tummy control?

Yes. The swimsuit features Arena's Power Mesh technology, with a Power Mesh panel over the stomach and waist that helps create a smooth midsection and supports a close, shaping fit.

What is the leg cut like?

The swimsuit has a medium cut that provides you with good coverage around the hip area.

Is it suitable for pools and chlorinated water?

Yes. The swimsuit is suitable for regular pool use with proper care. For daily or very frequent pool use where maximum chlorine resistance is the priority, Arena Performance with MaxLife Eco is a better choice.

Is it suitable for water aerobics?

Yes. The swimsuit is well suited for water aerobics and light water exercise. It is designed for support, comfort and shaping rather than a competitive swim fit.

Can I wear it in hot tubs, lagoons and natural hot springs in Iceland?

Yes. You can wear the swimsuit in hot tubs, lagoons and natural hot springs, but rinse it well in clean, cold water after use. Heat, minerals, chlorine and other substances in the water may affect the fabric and color over time.

Can I use it in the sea or salt water?

Yes. You can use the swimsuit in the sea or salt water, but rinse it well in clean, fresh water after use. Salt water may affect the fabric and color over time, as with all swimwear.

Is the fabric recycled?

Yes. The swimsuit is made from Arena Sensitive® Fit fabric with 68% recycled polyamide and 32% elastane.

What does UPF 50+ mean?

UPF 50+ is a measure of UV protection in fabric. It means the fabric provides very high protection against the sun's ultraviolet rays.

How should I wash and care for the swimsuit?

Rinse the swimsuit immediately after use in clean, cold water. Hand wash only, do not machine wash or tumble dry, and air dry away from heat sources. Always follow the care instructions on the garment label.

Will the color fade over time?

All swimwear can show signs of wear over time with exposure to chlorinated water, salt water and sunlight. Light and bright colors usually show wear sooner than black and dark colors.

What is the difference between Arena Shapewear and Arena Performance?

Arena Shapewear focuses on shaping, support, comfort and body confidence for regular swimming, aqua fitness and relaxation. Arena Performance is designed for competitive swimming and regular swim training, where speed, performance and maximum chlorine resistance matter most.
